Terms and conditions
Estimate:
The estimate is based on information you provided. Estimates are given to inform you of approximate costs and allow us to schedule team members appropriately. Actual charges reflect the filled percentage of container by your requested items to be removed, plus any specialty fees including additional disposal costs and team members.
Preparation:
Appliances: All appliances must be emptied including refrigerators and freezers prior to removal. Also, all water and gas lines must be disconnected prior to our arrival as our team members are not allowed to disconnect these items for both your safety and ours.
Specialty items:
Removing and hauling away unique items can result in specialty fees or the need for additional manpower. Keep in mind, there may be items we are unable to move or there may not be an option for proper disposal.
Cleanliness:
Team members have the right to refuse to remove unsanitary items or work in unsanitary/unsafe conditions.
Parking:
Ample parking must be available for the dumpster trailer/truck. Parking areas and walkways should be clear of snow and ice, as well as other obstructions. Should the customer be concerned about the weight/tire marks of the dumpster trailer/truck or container causing damage to their private driveway, please advise us in advance as POLEX SERVICES is unable to accept liability after the fact.
Safety:
Licensing and liabilities prevent our team members from removing flammable liquids, firearms, explosives, any container filled with gasoline or propane, medical waste, or other hazardous items.
Junk/Haul Away day:
Arrival time:
Time of arrival is approximate. Times will be scheduled in two-hour time blocks, either in the morning or afternoon. We will contact you if the arrival time changes significantly from what was originally estimated.
Children and pets:
Keep children and pets occupied during the removal of your items. We want to make sure everyone (and every animal) stays safe during this time.
Liability:
We reserve the right to decline additional services requested should those services pose risk of liability.
Insurance:
Proof of Liability insurance will be provided upon request once the job is scheduled.
Inspection:
Make sure items have been removed from requested areas and have been loaded on the truck.
Customer representation:
We ask that you be present during the entire move. Should you have to leave the premises for any reason, we ask that an adult representative be available.
Weather:
Junk Removal will proceed during poor weather unless weather conditions create safety concerns.
Payment method:
Payment is due at the completion of the Junk Removal. Accepted forms of payment varies on servicing location.
Dump Fees:
Dump fee is covered by the Junk removal fee unless weight is over 1 Ton (Approximately 2000lbs) Than the customer will be charged $25 per each .25 ton (Rounded up to nearest number - .25 .50 .75 and 1. ETC. Example: If the weight was 1.20 ton the customer would pay extra $25. If the weight was 1.30 ton. Than customer will be charged $50 etc.
Weight fee costs breakdown list:
up to 1.25 ton - $25 fee
up to 1.50 ton - $50 fee
up to 1.75 ton - $75 fee
up to 2 ton - $100 fee
up to 2.25 ton - $125 fee
up to 2.50 ton - $150 fee
up to 2.75 ton - $175 fee
up to 3 ton - $200 fee
up to 3.25 ton - $225 fee
up to 3.50 ton - $250 fee
up to 3.75 ton - $275 fee
up to 4 ton - $300 fee
up to 4.25 ton - $325 fee
up to 4.50 ton - $350 fee - Max legal weight*
Anything over 4.5 ton is $500 fee (overload)
(Max carrying weight for Load & Trail trailer is 9000lbs which is 4.5 ton)
Additional Possible fees:
Tire Disposal fee - $20 per tire
Mattress Disposal fee - $25 per mattress
